Add to this a needless flashlight mechanic that will leave the player searching for items in the dark instead of using logic and reason to progress. Tons of clipping and framerate issues to boot! Buyers beware.. I loved this time, unfortunately it was too short. My review is positive, but I must admit the programing was really bad optimized, I was running temps over 75ºC with my gtx 1080 ti, that´s absurd for such small games with poor graphics.. DO NOT GET THIS if you can't really do timed puzzles or if your computer is kind of slow. There is one timed puzzle that will ruin your life. I was having a lot of fun up until the one timed thing. But the game just has ssoooo much lag.Haven't been able to finish the game yet because of it, and I LOVE puzzle games like this. Sigh.Another issue is that the puzzles can't really be passed unless you have it at very high texture quality, because you can't see certain things you need to see without that quality. Sad because there's a lot of good ideas here, it's just that they messed up by the game mechanics and such.. Awesome game. Puzzles of varying challenge levels, nice and creepy atmosphere.If you like puzzle games, get it. Otherwise don't, duh.And if you do get it, the followup challenge raises the whole thing to a whole new level.. Brilliant puzzle game with a great mix of different types of puzzles. Theres no rush so you can take your time thinking about them. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the game, it was very imersive.. Awesome game. I'm so disappointed with this game, not because of the game itself but because of the bugs that render the game unplayable. I was really looking forward to playing it and enjoyed what little time I was able to spend searching for clues, but then I realized I had apparently picked up the flashlight from the bag at the beginning and it just never showed up in my inventory. I tried a few fixes and even tried running it on a different platform entirely, but nothing worked. (I'm running Windows 10, FYI.)Would also be great if there was controller support added--the keyboard gets very tiresome when you have to use it to move around.
